Experience you can rely on
Experienced safe engineer. Personal service.
Andy Patchett began as an apprentice safe engineer in Bradford at 16. Twenty-five years later, that hands-on foundation informs every Buzz project.
His work has included safe opening and servicing, engineering management, ATM security and large commercial security projects. That wider experience is useful when a job involves more than replacing a lock.
Every enquiry is assessed carefully, the practical options are explained clearly, and the work is carried out or coordinated through to completion.

Practical answers
Useful information before you call
Don’t see your situation here? A quick call is usually the fastest way to work out what is needed.
Contact the officeCan you open my safe without destroying it?
The goal is always to use the least destructive practical method. The exact approach depends on the safe, lock, fault and previous work, so make, model and fault details are helpful before attendance.
Can an old key safe be converted to electronic locking?
Many established safes can be upgraded, but suitability depends on the door, existing lock case and intended use. Buzz can assess the unit and explain the sensible options.
Do you move heavy safes between buildings?
Yes. Safe removals and relocations can include surveys, specialist transport and lifting solutions. Access routes, floor loading, stairs and final position all form part of the plan.
My uPVC door will not lock—can it be repaired?
Often, yes. Common causes include failed multipoint mechanisms, cylinders, handles and door alignment. Buzz can diagnose the fault, open the door where required, and repair or replace the affected parts.
What information should I send for a quote?
Include your location, a short description and any visible make or model information. For a safe move, include approximate dimensions, stairs and access at both locations.
